Leaf it in Vermont was started in 2007 by Wanda Trinci. Wanda was born and raised in Vermont and the natural beauty of Vermont served as an inspiration for her business.
Wanda and a friend were sitting on her back deck admiring the splendor of a Vermont autumn. At that moment, she got the idea to use leaves as her business! The seed was planted and it took root from there. With much trial and tribulations in preserving both the leaf and it's color Wanda's dream became reality.
Most pieces are personalized with "Vermont Maple" and signed. Some pieces use a combination of reds, yellows, orange and green leaves placed together for contrast. Like the leaves themselves, patterns can vary from piece to piece.
Just like snowflakes - no two leaves are exactly alike.
